SCIPN is a Landcare Network operating along the Surf Coast from Barwon Heads to Anglesea and within the inland plains between Connewarre, Lake Modewarre to Winchelsea. SCIPN’s region takes in the catchments of the Thompsons Creek and Spring Creek.

Meet our new Landcare Facilitator 

 

Introducing Sarah Anderson as the new Landcare facilitator for Surfcoast and Inland Plain Network.

With a Bachelor of Technology in Coastal Resource Management and time spent 20190928 152509in both the agricultural and the horse industries, Sarah brings a diverse background to the role. The focus moving forward will be to increase engagement with local Landcare groups, including Junior Landcare, and to foster collaborative, action-orientated projects that will enhance our diverse local area and assist local landholders. Feel free to reach out with your ideas, concerns or your ability to volunteer. Together we can enhance our local biodiversity and sustainable agricultural practices.

Our vision is to coordinate and facilitate cooperation between Landcare groups, friends of groups, environmental groups and the community to preserve, restore and protect the environment as well as promote sustainable land management.
