Rewilding Freshwater Creek

We are here to help. We are a local community group of volunteers in Freshwater Creek, Victoria and are part of the Surf Coast & Inland Plains Network (SCIPN), and Landcare Victoria.

We assist landowners with planning a rewilding planting program, and then plant the indigenous shrubs and trees to develop natural habitat and develop wildlife corridors on properties and along waterways in Freshwater Creek.

Our goal is to increase native habitat and connect these through wildlife corridors across Freshwater Creek.

Rewilding Freshwater Creek aims to plant 5000 indigenous trees and shrubs per year in Freshwater Creek: anywhere in Freshwater Creek; along waterways, creeks and gullies such as Duneed Creek, Taylors Gully, Thompsons Creek, Merrijig Creek and other tributaries.

Assist to rebuild a wildlife corridor between Thompsons Creek catchment and Spring Creek.
